...gathers no moss! Moss agate, a variety of chalcedony, is a spectacular gem that appears to have living moss growing within! Agate lore suggests the gem strengthens the body and mind, imparts a sense of strength and courage, enables one to discern truth, and is a powerful healer.
The end of each of these hair pins is adorned with a geunine moss agate bead, nestled into a fluted, goldplated beadcap. A goldplated bead occupies the center position. Another genuine moss agate bead sits below. Goldplated heishi beads complete the design. The hair sticks are natural hand carved bone, in the timeless shade of ivory. The hair accessories measure 5 5/8" from end to end.
