colour classification qu
May 23rd, 2004 at 10:09pm

i dont have any pictures online to show you so this will be a bit difficult, but im having trouble classifying my hair colour.
its a very fair brown (in my opinion) but some call it dark/dirty blonde. the best match i could think of would be avril lavigne
http://www.avril.cn/images/avril-lavigne-10.jpg
(this picture is a very good match actually.....and she kinda looks like me!  Roll Eyes )

what would everyone call this? brown or blonde? its one of those things that drives me nuts!!  Shocked
thankyou!

I don't know if mine could be called blond anymore, either.  Or if it's actually brown now.  I'll have to ask some people, I guess.

I have light brown hair and well...I'm sorry to say this, but if you have the same hair colour as Avril, it is indeed dirty/dishwater/dark blonde on the goldish side. She is no brunette.

You can use your eyebrows as a guide, since they tend to represent the darkest parts of your hair. If they are light to dark, reddish or golden blonde, you're blonde. True brunettes have eyebrows that are medium to dark brown.

Hope this helps a bit.
