Poor Maggie. My mother was 9½ years older than her younger sister, and has a story
very similar to yours. The two are not that close in their adult lives, though.
I once thought about using Johnson's baby shampoo for myself, given the mildness of the ingredients:
The Original Johnson's Baby shampoo: Water, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, PEG-80 Sorbitan Laurate, Sodium Trideceth Sulfate, PEG-150 Distearate, Fragrance, Polyquaternium-10, Tetrasodium EDTA, Quaternium-15, Citric Acid, Yellow 10 and Orange 4.
Johnson's Baby shampoo with Natural Lavender: Water, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, PEG-80 Sorbitan Laurate, Sodium Trideceth Sulfate, PEG-150 Distearate, Fragrance, Polyquaternium-10, Tetrasodium EDTA, Quaternium-15, Citric Acid, Ext. Violet 2
Johnson's Baby shampoo Detangling formula: Water, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, PEG-80 Sorbitan Laurate, Sodium Trideceth Sulfate, PEG-150 Distearate, Fragrance, Polyquaternium-10, Tetrasodium EDTA, Quaternium-15, Citric Acid, Red 40, Yellow 10
All of the formulas are pretty much the same. Hope it helps.
