It's too long for curls ? Maybe I should get my hair cut in layers or shoulder-lenght ?  Undecided

I'm not one to advocate cutting hair, but what if you do sock curls or rag curls?  Give it a try before you consider cutting your hair, please!  If you're really thinking of cutting it,wait a week, ask yourself again if you want to cut it,wait another week, ask again and then if you're really set on cutting it,you'll have your answer!

I do not suggest cutting it!  Try what Curlgirl64 suggested, or maybe pin curls.  I don't have hair as long as yours, but I have a lot of it so I take a smooth roller and wrap my hair around it and then slide the curl off and pin at the scalp with pin curl pins.  I prefer these to bobby pins cause the bobby pins can leave dents in the finished curl.

Good Luck-tell us how it turns out!

Perhaps you can braid it at night and unbraid it when you awake.  This won't give you curls but it'll give you nice waves.  The larger the braid the larger the waves.

Good Luck!

Oh honey, Victorian women had much longer hair than you do and wore their hair in curls all the time. Have you tried sponge curlers? Rag curls and sock curls also garner some lovely results.  Smiley

I curl my classic length hair with socks.  I just section my hair and wrap each section around a sock and tie it off.  The more socks used, the more curls.  Curling damp hair will give a longer lasting curl.
