Splitting Canopy
Aug 12th, 2008 at 8:50pm

Ok what do I do?  Here is what's going on.  After washing my hair and allowing to air dry, the canopy begins to "split" over the nape when I part and comb.  My nape is very wavy, while the canopy is straight.  I dont know if it is cuz the nape hair is dry or perhaps the canopy is dry.  I oil both of them, but it still splits.  This happens after each washing now.  I have to continually comb otherwise I get this weirdly parted look down my back.  What do I do?  Have any of you ever experienced such a thing?   Huh.  It is aggravating cuz I want it to fall nicely down my back.  If I put it up damp for a while that helps, but it doesnt dry.

The straight canopy looks like this  /~~ \.  Then the waves show.  You get the general idea.
