Hair friendly elastics

Well I recently purchased an unused Hair Bunjii on another list.  See attachment for picture.

But last year I bought some Mia's Snap Elastics at Ulta. http://www.amazon.com/Mia-Snap-Elastics-Model-0713/dp/B003E81ES2/ref=wl_it_dp_o?... They were great! Even better than the Scunci hosiery ties, which do catch a hair or two sometimes. The Snap Elastics never caught my hairs at all. Only one downside... the plastic 'cup' the knobby bit snaps into will break after a while. I had purchased two packs and now I'm down to a few. Sigh...

When I googled them, it took a few terms (because I couldn't remember the name of the item) and I finally found them on Amazon dot com.  But now Amazon is out.

So I googled Mia hair accessories and came across this web page!
http://miahairaccessories.com/detail.php?product=snap-elastic
Yeah! I can buy them directly from Mia!

Had a thought on that... maybe I should print out a picture of them, go back to Ulta (since I have a card there) and ask them when/if they'll get them in.  Several of the items on the Mia website I've seen at Ulta.  Can't be that hard for them to add a pack or two of Snap Elastics to their shipment, right?   Tongue

Can't hurt to ask...

Then I saw these http://www.hairbungee.com.au/home/ Hair Bungees on the internet. Has anyone tried these? I am wondering how hair safe the metal bits are.

If anyone sees any such style hair elastics (the kind that clip together like the Mia's or the Bunjii) please let me know!

I have the purple ones you show a pic of.  I have them in pink, yellow and some other color.  I have never been able to use them in my hair correctly so they just sit in my hair scrunchi box!!
I got the hair bungii hair thingies yesterday. I can't use them either!!!!!  How are you supposed to wrap your hair yourself with these things?!  You need someone else to help you or grow another hand to do it yourself!
If anyone is interested in buying them from me, just p/m me!
You might have better luck than me with them!

It took me a few tries, but I once I got the hang of it...

I just bunned my hair but let me try again here...

I hold the ponytail in one hand.  I then put one end of the snap elastic in two fingers of the hand holding the ponytail.  The other hand wraps the elastic around the tail.

When I need to bring the elastic around again, I slip the end under the palm or fingers of the hand holding the ponytail.  Other hand quickly retrieves end and brings it around as necessary.

Clear as mud?  Grin

Does that help?
