There are only three special order versions of this design available.
The Chinese and East Indians have perfected the art of enameling metal beads in beautiful designs and vibrant colors. This enameling process is known as "cloisonné." Cloisonné has been used for centuries by jewelers to create their designs. The famous French jeweler Fabergé, who crafted the spectacular Fabergé Impearial Easter Eggs for the czars of Russia, used cloisonné extensively in his magnificent creations.
The end of each of these hairsticks is adorned with a scrumptious golden mesh Chinese cloisonné bead enameled in peridot green and plum purple, nestled into a gold plated filigree bead cap. A peridot green crystal, topped with a gold plated filigree bead cap, sits below. Gold plated heishi beads complete the hair jewelry design. The hairsticks are hand carved bone dyed elegant black, under a layer of protective clear enamel. These one-of-a-kind LongLocks hair accessories measure 5 7/8" long from end to end.
