There are only three special order versions of this design available.
Hand crafted lampwork beads are painstakingly created one at a time by bead artists using specialized glass and a high temperature propane torch. Each bead has its own character and is in itself a work of art. A true bead artist brings incredible depth to each bead, and each artist has their own signature style. Indeed the designs, and even the beads themselves, are as individual and as varied as the artists who create them.
The end of each of these hair accessories is adorned with a gorgeous rose pink, jonquil yellow, lavender and yellow green lampwork lentil bead, hand crafted by glass artist Kari Persson, nestled into a Turkish vermeil (genuine 22kt. gold over sterling silver) filigree bead cap. A gold plated rose pink crystal rhinestone rondelle occupies the center position. A Swarovski Jonquil Aurora Borealis bicone crystal, topped with an ornate Turkish vermeil filigree bead cap, sits below. Gold plated heishi beads complete the design. The hair sticks are elegantly carved bone, hand painted in an ultra-pearlescent marbelized design of rose pink and yellow green, under layers of protective clear enamel. These one-of-a-kind special edition LongLocks hair accessories measure 5 7/8" long from end to end.
