The Chinese have perfected the art of enameling metal beads in beautiful designs and vibrant colors. This enameling process is known as "cloisonne." Cloisonne has been used for centuries by jewelers to create their designs. The famous French jeweler Fabergé, who crafted the spectacular Fabergé Impearial Easter Eggs for the czars of Russia, used cloisonne extensively in his magnificent creations.
The end of each of these hair accessories is adorned with an absolutely gorgeous copper and gold cloisonne flower bead with a sparkling rhinestone set into the center of each side, nestled into a gold plated filigree bead cap. A rare vintage Swarovski Comet OR margarita (flower-shaped) crystal, with a genuine 24kt. gold finish, occupies the center position. A Swarovski Aurum bicone crystal, also with a genuine 24kt. gold finish, sits below. Gold plated heishi beads complete the design. The hair sticks are intricately hand carved bone finished in shimmering gold and detailed in copper, under layers of protective clear enamel. These one-of-a-kind hair accessories measure 5 7/8" from end to end.
