Hand crafted lampwork beads are painstakingly created one at a time by bead artists using specialized glass and a high temperature propane torch. Each bead has its own character and is in itself a work of art. A true bead artist brings incredible depth to each bead, and each artist has their own signature style. Indeed the designs, and even the beads themselves, are as individual and as varied as the artists who create them.
The end of each of these hair accessories is adorned with a divine mint green lampwork bead with applied ribbons of rose pink glass, by glass artist Robert Mack, nestled into a Turkish sterling silver filigree bead cap. A silver plated Swarovski Chrysolite crystal rhinestone rondelle occupies the center position. A Swarovski Light Rose bicone crystal, topped with an ornate Turkish sterling silver filigree bead cap, sits below. Silver plated heishi beads complete the design. The hair sticks are carved bone hand finished in a floral design in hues of light rose pink and mint green, beneath a glittering sugared finish, under layers of protective clear enamel. These one-of-a-kind special edition LongLocks HairSticks measure 5 3/4" long from end to end.
