Hand crafted lampwork beads are painstakingly created one at a time by bead artists using specialized glass and a high temperature propane torch. Each bead has its own character and is in itself a work of art. A true bead artist brings incredible depth to each bead, and each artist has their own signature style. Indeed the designs, and even the beads themselves, are as individual and as varied as the artists who create them.
The end of each of these hair accessories is adorned with a slightly different magnificent aqua blue, orchid purple and jonquil yellow opaque lampwork bead hand made by the glass artists of Enchanted Dreams Jewels, nestled into a double-ended Turkish vermeil (genuine 22kt. gold over sterling silver) bead cap. Extremely rare vintage Swarovski Aquamarine Aurora Borealis bicone crystals occupy the center position. Vintage Swarovski Jonquil Aurora Borealis crystals, topped with double-ended Turkish vermeil bead caps, sit below. The hair sticks are elegantly carved bone, hand painted in satiny orchid purple under layers of protective clear enamel. These one-of-a-kind special edition Longlocks hair accessories measure 5 3/4" long from end to end.
