There are only three special order version of this design available.
Hand crafted lampwork beads are painstakingly created one at a time by bead artists using specialized glass and a high temperature propane torch. Each bead has its own character and is in itself a work of art. A true bead artist brings incredible depth to each bead, and each artist has their own signature style. Indeed the designs, and even the beads themselves, are as individual and as varied as the artists who create them.
The end of each of these hair accessories is adorned with a phenomenal encased olivine green and burnt orange twisted cane lampwork bead, hand made by glass artist Bill Grout, nestled into an ornate Turkish vermeil (genuine 22kt. gold over sterling silver) filigree bead cap. A gold plated topaz crystal rhinestone rondelle occupies the center position. A Swarovski Olivine Aurora Borealis 2X bicone crystal, topped with a Turkish vermeil filigree bead cap, sits below. Gold plated heishi beads complete the design. The hair sticks are elegantly carved bone, hand finished in a floral decoupage design of cream, topaz, olivine green, emerald and burnt orange, under layers of protective clear enamel. These one-of-a-kind special edition LongLocks hair accessories measure 5 7/8" long from end to end.
