Charoite, which is found only in the Murun mountains in Russia, is a very rare gemstone that is treasured for its outstanding beauty. Colors in the gem range from lavender, lilac, violet and royal purple with white, copper, gray and black veining, all of which may be pearlized. Charoite lore suggests the stone enhances self-esteem while increasing spiritual growth and the ability to love others.
The end of each of these hair accessories is adorned with a gorgeous genuine charoite cube bead drilled from corner to corner, nestled into a silver plated bell bead cap. A genuine charoite tube bead, topped with a silver plated bell bead cap, sits below. Silver plated heishi beads complete the hair jewelry design. The hair sticks are hand crafted of bone, carved into elegant spirals and finished in satiny amethyst purple under layers of protective clear enamel. These one-of-a-kind gemstone hair accessories measure 6" from end to end.
