An exercise in technical perfection, Swarovski crystal has been manufactured in the Austrian Alps since the late 19th century. The building in which it is manufactured is heavily guarded to protect the company's trade secrets. Clear as spring water and entirely free of flaws, Swarovski is considered the finest crystal in the world and is characterized by razor-sharp facets, outstanding clairty, rich saturated colors and spectacular prismatic brilliance.
All of these breathtaking vintage Swarovski crystals haven't been made for decades. The end of each of these hair accessories is adorned with an exceedingly rare vintage Swarovski Olivine Aurora Borealis bullet crystal, nestled in a gold plated filigree bead cap. A rare vintage Swarovski Jonquil Aurora Borealis bicone crystal occupies the center position. An extremely rare vintage Swarovski Sun bicone crystal, topped with a gold plated filigree bead cap, sits below. Gold plated heishi beads complete the design. The hair sticks are hand carved bone, finished in a floral decoupage design in olivine green, jonquil yellow and sunny orange, under layers of protective clear enamel. These one-of-a-kind hair accessories measure 5 5/8" from end to end.
