There are only two special order versions of this design available.
Hand crafted lampwork beads are painstakingly created one at a time by bead artists using specialized glass and a high temperature propane torch. Each bead has its own character and is in itself a work of art. A true bead artist brings incredible depth to each bead, and each artist has their own signature style. Indeed the designs, and even the beads themselves, are as individual and as varied as the artists who create them.
The end of each of these hair accessories is adorned with gorgeous coordinating metallic periwinkle blue, sage green, jet black and silver lampwork pillow beads, hand crafted by glass artist Helen Brodt-Savage, nestled into ornate double-ended Turkish sterling silver fluted bead caps. Swarovski Jet bicone crystals sit below. Silver plated heishi beads complete the design. The hair sticks are elegantly carved bone, hand painted in satiny periwinkle blue under layers of protective clear enamel. These one-of-a-kind special edition Longlocks hair accessories measure 5 3/4" long from end to end.
