There are only three special order versions of this design available.
Hand crafted lampwork beads are painstakingly created one at a time by bead artists using specialized glass and a high temperature propane torch. Each bead has its own character and is in itself a work of art. A true bead artist brings incredible depth to each bead, and each artist has their own signature style. Indeed the designs, and even the beads themselves, are as individual and as varied as the artists who create them.
The end of each of these hair accessories is adorned with a divine transparent aqua blue lampwork bead with applied glass flowers, hand crafted by glass artist Jena Moore, nestled into a Turkish sterling silver filigree bead cap. A silver plated comet argent crystal rhinestone rondelle, with a spectacular rhodium finish that sparkles like sterling silver, occupies the center position. An aqua blue teardrop crystal, topped with an ornate Turkish sterling silver filigree bead cap, sits below. Silver plated heishi beads complete the design. The hair sticks are elegantly carved bone, hand painted in an ultra-pearlescent marbelized design of aqua blue and silver, under layers of protective clear enamel. These one-of-a-kind special edition LongLocks hair accessories measure 5 7/8" long from end to end.
