Hand crafted lampwork beads are painstakingly created one at a time by bead artists using specialized glass and a high temperature propane torch. Each bead has its own character and is in itself a work of art. A true bead artist brings incredible depth to each bead, and each artist has their own signature style. Indeed, the designs are as individual and as varied as the artists who create them.
The end of each of these hair accessories is adorned with a beautiful encased light sapphire blue and blue zircon lampwork bead by flamework bead artist Dan Husko, nestled into a genuine sterling silver filigree bead cap. A silver plated blue zircon rhinestone rondelle occupies the center position. A Swarovski Blue Zircon bicone crystal, topped with an ornate sterling silver bead cap, sits below. Silver plated heishi beads complete the design. The hair sticks are hand crafted of wood, carved into graceful, elegant spirals and finished in satiny blue zircon under layers of protective clear enamel. These one-of-a-kind special edition hair accessories measure 6 1/8" from end to end.
