There are only three special order versions of this design available. Please note that each pair of beads in this art glass set vary slightly.
Hand crafted lampwork beads are painstakingly created one at a time by bead artists using specialized glass and a high temperature propane torch. Each bead has its own character and is in itself a work of art. A true bead artist brings incredible depth to each bead, and each artist has their own signature style. Indeed the designs, and even the beads themselves, are as individual and as varied as the artists who create them.
The end of each of these hair accessories is adorned with a magnificent periwinkle blue and white opaque lampwork bead hand made by the glass artists of Enchanted Dreams Jewels, nestled into an ornate Turkish sterling silver filigree bead cap. A rare vintage Swarovski Chalk White tapered crystal occupies the center position. An exceedingly rare vintage Swarovski Lavender (actually a light periwinkle blue) bicone crystal, topped with another Turkish sterling silver filigree bead cap, sits below. Silver plated heishi beads complete the design. The hair sticks are elegantly carved bone, hand painted in sparkling silver over periwinkle blue, under layers of protective clear enamel. These one-of-a-kind special edition LongLocks hair accessories measure 5 3/4" long from end to end.
