There is only one special order version of this design available. Please note that the pink and yellow colorway of the art glass lampwork beads in the special order design will be reversed.
Hand crafted lampwork beads are painstakingly created one at a time by bead artists using specialized glass and a high temperature propane torch. Each bead has its own character and is in itself a work of art. A true bead artist brings incredible depth to each bead, and each artist has their own signature style. Indeed the designs, and even the beads themselves, are as individual and as varied as the artists who create them.
At the end of each of these hair pins dangles a divine jonquil yellow and rose pink lampwork bead hand made by glass artist Betty Gerla, a Turkish vermeil (genuine 22kt. gold over sterling silver) filigree bead cap, Swarovski Rose and Jonquil bicone crystals and a rare vintage Swarovski Jonquil bicone crystal. Two Swarovski Jonquil Aurora Borealis crystals nestled into ornate Turkish vermeil filigree bead caps, and a gold plated rose pink rhinestone rondelle adorn the hair sticks. Fourteen karat gold-filled heishi beads complete the design. The hair sticks are intricately hand engraved bone, finished in satiny rose pink under layers of protective clear enamel. These one-of-a-kind special edition LongLocks hair accessories measure 5 5/8" long from end to end (excluding dangle).
