There are only two special order versions of this design available.
Hand crafted lampwork beads are painstakingly created one at a time by bead artists using specialized glass and a high temperature propane torch. Each bead has its own character and is in itself a work of art. A true bead artist brings incredible depth to each bead, and each artist has their own signature style. Indeed the designs, and even the beads themselves, are as individual and as varied as the artists who create them.
The end of each of these hair accessories is adorned with a marvelous sparkling fuchsia pink and peridot green lampwork bead, hand crafted by glass art Deborah Bales, nestled into a Turkish sterling silver filigree bead cap. A silver plated peridot green rhinestone rondelle occupies the center position. A rare vintage Swarovski Fuchsia Aurora Borealis crystal, topped with an ornate Turkish sterling silver filigree bead cap, sits below. Silver plated heishi beads complete the hair jewelry design. The hair sticks are elegantly carved bone finished in an abstract pink and green decoupage design beneath a glittering sugared finish, under layers of protective clear enamel. These one-of-a-kind special edition LongLocks hair accessories measure 5 7/8" from end to end.
