Title: CWC Method Post by leia on Jul 1st, 2003 at 4:44am
I just tried this for the first time a few days ago, has anyone else tried this and had success? I think it's a great way to wash hair!

Is this the method where you wash your hair with conditioner instead of shampoo? ???

What you're talking about is the CO method. In CWC (Condition, Wash, Condition), you first wet your hair with water, and apply conditioner on the length. You let the conditioner do it's work while you shower, and then before washing it out, you put shampoo on the scalp. Then you wash it all out, condition the length again, and wash it out. ;D

It really depends on your hair type. I found that the CWC worked really well for me, but sometimes too much conditioner makes your hair limp. Since my hair isn't straight, and it's dry sometimes, this really helps. Try it out and see how it works for you!

I do CWC, but on an even more extreme level. I put conditioner on dry hair and use a plastic cap under the shower head for heat, leave it on for 30 minutes or more, then shampoo and use leave-in conditioners. I have straight, medium thick hair, and it never seems to be limp or greasy from this
