Santa must be as hair-obsessed as I am, cuz he got me a bunch of hair care stuff for Christmas! ;)

I finally got my split-ender.  WOO HOO!!!  ;DI had been pretty sceptical about it, but so far it seems to be working quite well.  It has made my hair smoother and less frizzy, and it doesn't seem any shorter.  (I'm not sure if it's supposed to only trim 1/8 inch off the split ends or All ends) I looked in the little hair receptacle, and I saw a lot of tiny hair ends, like when people say they "dust" their hair.  It's been pretty cool, and my hair seems healthier.  I looked on the Internet for reviews, and I found quite a few that claim the split ender works.

Sounds good-I have been wondering about the split-ender,too.At least after seeing all those infomercials about it!(Even here in Germany) I don´t have many splits,but these before and after pics were rather tempting! (Aren´t they always ;) )

The split-ender is a device about the size of a hairbrush.  You run small sections of your hair through it, and it snips off split ends, trimming 1/8 inch off.  You can find it at    www.splitender.com

Oh wow. I think I'll have to hit the hubby up for an early birthday present! If it works like it says it does, I could definitely use it.

Well right now I am paying for college books, errr. But as soon as I pay for that and a gym membership, I must splurge and buy one. I can't wait. All my friends and boyfriend swear that it won't work, but I am optimistic.

    I've been reading everyone's postings for months--thanks for all the great advice and sharing of stories.  I came on to ask if anyone had tried the split-ender and here you have.  I found it at the Ulta store for $30, and debated getting it, but compared to the cost of a professional trimming, it sounds like it might be worth the cost.
    I have very few split ends, but they always appear in the middle of my length, not necessarily the ends.  Either I don't have the touch or the patience to do my own dusting.  I'll happily post a review when I get my split-ender.

I'm not sure the split ender will find your split ends in the middle of your length.  It seems to work more on the principle of trimming a small amount of the ends of your hair.  If you don't have splits on the ends of your hair, all this would do is shorten your hair and probably not touch the "bumps" or splits higher up.

I got it, and it does work.  I worked all my hair one time through and was disappointed that there didn't seem to be any "dust" in the catcher, and I couldn't really tell the difference in my hair, so I worked through it again.  When I opened the hair catcher the second time, there was very little in it, and then I realized the catcher didn't work, but there was hair dust on the vanity and me.  When I ran my hands through my hair I definitely felt the difference.  I will be using it regularly to keep up with the split ends.
