Title: jojoba oil question
Post by flaming_bunny on Mar 28th, 2004 at 4:00pm
i'm slightly confused about the type of oil to buy for my hair. in a shop i saw a bottle of jojoba oil which said on the label that you had to add essential oils, etc. i *think* it said it was a carrier oil. can someone help me out? i don't want to buy the wrong stuff  :-[
thankyou for any help!

Jojoba oil is sometimes referred to as a carrier oil - it has no scent of its own, so other scents (essence oils) can be added to it.

Some people will add their favorite essence oils to jojoba oil and use that on their hair.  I use jojoba alone to oil my hair.
