Title: Do You Have An Animal In Your Lap? Post by strawberryfine on Dec 22nd, 2004 at 5:25am
As you sit before your keyboard, is there something furry in your lap, blocking your view of the keyboard and/or monitor screen?
Do you look like your pet(s)? I kind of do, all three of my long haired cats are growing out from being trimmed real short and it is not always a pretty sight! LOL They have bad fur days. ::) |

My dog is a little bit to big to sit in my lap even though he is kinda on the small side. We both have long black hair and brown eyes so maybe we do look a little alike. ;)

I have a nice, beautiful bunny >:x )
She's natural brown (agouti), while I'm blonde. And I have definitely shorter ears. :P I wish my hair was as soft as her fur, but I guess that's impossible. Her character is much like that of my spouse's though, that's probably why they are best friends. |

My monitor and keyboard are in the center of a 4' table. To the left of the keyboard I have put a pillow for the cat. When I am not actively working on something I have my feet up on the pillow, which provides her with a comfy and secure lap. Like right now. When I need to get up I reposition her onto the pillow.

He thankfully doesn'ty try and take up my seat, but he does occasionally lie on my feet. I have a cat that thinks he's human, and his name is Farley.. He's adorable, black and white, and entirely spoiled. He's also rather.. err, chunky, due to the fact he's spoiled. *laughs* |

I currently have my rabbit sitting on my lap, chewing on my sleeve while I type. He's got grey fur, and these big, beautiful dark brown eyes. He's my sweetheart and I've probably had him for a couple of years. He gets along well with my cat, almost two well, as I have 'interrupted' them a time or two before.
I also have a bird, but she merely tolerates my existance. |

I love hearing about everyone's "furry babies"!
Again, I sit here with a bluecream Persian cat with deep orange eyes named Sassy warming my lap. She was a rescue kitten and now she's 10 years old. SF |
