Every year I love to watch A Christmas Carol w/Alistair Cook and other versions, Baryshnikov's Nutcracker Ballet, It's a Wonderful Life w/Jimmy Stewart, Christmas in Connecticut w/ Barbara Stanwyck, Holiday Inn w/Fred Astaire/Bing Crosby, How The Grinch Stole Christmas, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation with Chevy Chase, Scrooged with Bill Murray, White Christmas w/Bing Crosby and I know there are others I haven't discovered yet.

What are your favorites?

Its a wonderful life, with Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed.
I always cry at that movie! I enjoyed the Santa Clause
I with Tim Allen, haven't seen II yet.
A Christmas Carol! I've seen a couple of versions.
There's more but I can't think of them

"It'a Wonderful Life" is my all time favorite Christmas movie, I can watch it again and again. :) I love the idea of how one life can be so important and make such a difference in many people's lives. :)

I usually end up watching the "Bond movie marathons" on a cable channel. *laughs* I kow it's not a Christmas movie, but it's the only thing I can watch while running from the kitchen to the dinning room and back again... my usual Holiday treck when I'm cooking. *giggles*

I think my favorite one is "A Christmas Story". The movie about the boy and his wish for a bb gun from santa. My family watches it every year around the holidays. It's become somewhat of a tradition for us I suppose.
I'm also a big fan of the old claymation Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer special.

I absolutely love both of those! I couldn't think of the name of A Christmas Story and I grew up with Rudolph in claymation. Thanks for reminding me.

And It's A Wonderful Life is soooo good, too.

I know it is summer but this is a neat thread 8-)

My favorite Christmas movie is Jingle All The Way with Arnold Schwarzengger and Sinbad ;)

It is so funny how Arnold and Sinbad wrestle each other and the late great Phil Hartman is funny too.
