Hi there, I'm another newcomer - I'm a 28yo guy from Australia (originally New Zealand), with 79cm / 31" straight ginger hair - which is about the middle of my back for me.

My hair's been about that length for the last 8 years or so, having last had it cut short in '94.

I'm here because a friend who has recently become a rather compulsive hair stick buyer managed to harrass me into taking better cair of my hair, and had mentioned this place.
So I figured I'd come and check it out.

It looks like there's plenty of good information and advice for me to read through :D

My favourite products were the Clairol Herbal Essences shampoo and conditioner for fine hair - pretty much entirely because I liked the smell ;)
However, they seem to have discontinued it on me, as I have been completely unable to find it on shelves anywhere for about a year now - which seems to be a pattern for me whenever I find something I like.

I generally prefer to wear my hair out, apart from a quick pony tale to get it out of my food, or if it's windy.

Have they stopped producing all Herbal Essences shampoos where you are or just the one for fine hair?

I hate it when you find something you really like and then it's discontinued. That's the story of my life in just about everything.  :P

It's just the fine hair Herbal Essences I can't find, there's always plenty of the others - but I notice that they still have it listed on their Australian web site, so maybe I just need to look harder...

i think i know that brand of shampoo but i never used it. it does smell nice though.

*nods*  We "reddies" tend to have thick hair.  Some days it feel like I've just got gobs of it...  *laughs*  Gobs of hair, boy does that sound odd!
