I've been lurking here for a few months but last year I stumbled across the hair stix pages and got alot of great info from the library. It took me a while to figure out that you all have this board. ::)

Anyway, my hair is medium brown with lots of red and blond highlights. I stopped perming and coloring years ago, so I'm pretty sure it's all virgin by now. And I honestly can't remember the last time I used my blowdryer. It's 32.5 inches since I had a trim last week. Bless my hairdresser, she does know what half an inch is!!

I've been using AO and other natural products and CO'ing sometimes for six months or so. I really like both! I usually ACV rinse in the middle, I have some minerals in my water. And my DH does search & destroy missions for me. He's so wonderful!!

I look forward to getting to know you all and I'd like to say thanks ;D for all the help and inspiration you've already given!!

Welcome! Glad you found us. Sounds like you are well on your way to beautiful, long hair.

How lucky you are that DH helps you with your S&D missions. Care to share how you convinced him to help?

To be honest, I don't know how I got lucky enough for DH to be a willing (most of the time :)) helper. He just likes my hair long! He will even braid it for me sometimes!!

I don't have a digital camera yet but as soon as I do I'll be begging for help to download some pics! ::)
