Hey, everyone!

A friend of mine who frequents this board (EllaSongbird ^.^) introduced me to your site. I'm 20, a Junior at Florida State, and I have reeeeeally curly hair! There have been times when I've tried to actually grow it out, but quicky got annoyed and ended up chopping it off.

The first time I really hacked it off was my Junior year of HS, from three inches past my shoulders to about three inches all over... it was SO short! And those of you with curly hair know it bounces back... when I pulled it out it was about 6 inches, but it sprang back to three!

Now it's maybe an inch past again, after several haircuts and everything, and I'm determined to let it grow for a little bit. I've never really had long hair -- always got frustrated at the 3" past mark -- but this time I'm really gonna try!

long curly hair, now there's something i always wanted but it looks like such a pain to grow.

I actually checked out another site, and apparently I'm a 3bMii. LOL, that was gibberish to me, but hopefully I can add a big ol' number to that (length-wise) as well! ::grins::

Always glad to see another long-hair-wannabe here. Welcome. Even us straighties get annoyed with growing out hair >:(. So hang in there with us and see if you can't get past that point. Long curly hair *sighs* is beautiful.
