I've seen this term used before--somewhere on these boards!--but I have absolutely no idea what it is.  And why is it called a Bubba tail?  "Bubba" was a common nickname for hick guys back where I grew up, in Tennessee!

Bubba is a member of another long hair chat board.  The Bubba tail is a pony tail with several scrunchies or hairties down the length of the tail.  It is a good style for sleeping or in windy conditions.
