Title: Amish hairpins Post by 13bodies on Jul 19th, 2005 at 3:58pm
Wow.
Just....wow. I ordered some Amish hairpins from Plainly Dressed and they are amazing. They're strong yet flexible with nice pointy ends that slip easily into my hair. I only had to use 3 of the 2.5" pins to secure the inner part of my modified Gibson today. The only problem I have with them is their silver color shows up against my hair. I think I'll just touch up the ends with a little dark brown paint. The service at Plainly Dressed was great. I ordered on 7/14 and they sent me the package the same day. I got the package yesterday on the 18th. The pins are $3/dozen, and well worth it IMO. |

I have a dozen (or is it two?) 3" Amish hairpins and love them. It is amazing how well they hold a style in place.

Me three!
I'm actually thinking of getting some of Ron Quattro's hairpins too. Sort of same idea but bigger with rounder tips, somewhere between a mini hair fork and a hair pin. It's on e-bay...g |
