Just testing out my new avatar. I had my hair trimmed on Friday so I'm not at bra strap anymore :( But it's alot healthier.

Very pretty! Do you plan on growing it longer? I am sure it would look lovely, the color is very nice.

Great avatar! It looks very healthy indeed. It was very brave of you to trim it - it takes me weeks to convince myself to get a trim, and that's only over a measly half inch. :)

Golly I hate trims too.. in fact I've chickened out on all trims since December. Yikes!

I agree with everyone, your hair color is very nice! :D Have you thought about posting a larger version of your hair on the Show Off Your Locks page? It would be nice to see a clearer picture of your hair. :)

Thank you guys for the comments about my hair. I plan on growing it to mid back, maybe tailbone. I got it cut, because my hair is so thick, and it's getting up into the 90's around here, and it just burns me up! But I really would like to have it longer. I've been growing it out since January 2004, and it would be longer, except that I got a really bad hair cut when it was about and inch or two from bra strap. It was to my shoulders, so I was really brave to cut it this time, but I'm getting used to it, and it feels so much healthier and better since the trim!!

Something with long hair and heat...do a pony tail, a braid, a bun or any up-do to keep the hairs off the neck. I find that helps alot with heat.
