That is sooo funny. I had to run into the grocery store today and picked up a few items, then wandered over to the hair-care aisle. Indeed, while I had a few items in my basket that I never even bothered to look at the ingredients, I spent, easily 10 minutes reading lables on conditioner bottles!!! LOL!

Oh NOOOoooooo - I've done that - and the results weren't bad  ;D...g

Good additions!  I can relate to many of those!  (and I thought I was the only person who used a twist tie on their braid end!!  ;D)

LOL  And honey thought we were the only ones with vinegar in the bathroom!!

OMG!!  Now I know what to do with twist ties!!!  I never use them (I tie a knot in the trash bags instead) so I have a whole bunch.  I feel guilty just throwing them out.

ummm 13bodies, what do you do with yoghurt? is it good for the hair?

I don't use it, but I have a friend who uses it as a deep treatment.  She swears by the stuff although she wouldn't actually eat yogurt unless compelled to do so at gunpoint.

I haven't seen anywhere ACV sold in gallon jugs but if I ever find it, I'll buy.  ½ liter bottles are spent way too fast (besides for hair rinses, I use ACV as a general cleaner).

You spend three hours on the boards when you should be doing math homework, cleaning the house, eating (have I discovered some new diet?), etc.

Galadriel: Any grocery store will have the 1-gallon jugs of both distilled and apple cider vinegar. Vons, Albertson's, Ralphs, take your pick.
   At least all of the ones in SoCal have it.

Galadriel, most grocery stores in the states sell them in gallon containers or some a little smaller. I don't know what size they sell them in where you're at.

Ok, now I got ACV envy. Here, the only size of ACV sold in grocery stores is pitiful ½ liter. I'm dreaming of getting my hands on a bulk store card (sp.) and being able to check, whether bulk stores that sell ingredients to restaurants etc. have bigger sizes. :)

My ticker represents how much time I have to get in shape for my 6 day 400 mile bike trip!  I need motivation during the winter to get me on the trainer and put on "miles".   ;D

The trip is in August.  I will start in Marinette WI down to Green Bay, up into Door County to Baileys Harbor then down the Lake Michigan shoreline to Port Washington.  

We've most of this route before and it is a beautiful route.

Wow. That's quite a trip. That should be alot of fun.
Do you ride the whole way?! You're a brave woman to do it in August. Wouldn't it be hot?

Yes, we ride our bikes the whole way - we have to.  Our car is at the END!  ;D

August in Wisconsin can be hot, but usually the lake helps keep the temps down to comfortable levels.  We have made this trip in previous years with temps well over 90 the entire time - you certainly learn to manage your fluids and ride VERY EARLY in the day!

Back to the original topic: You know you spend too much time on LL forum when...

you still in church (or anywhere) and imagine how you can help the person sitting in front of you get their hair healthy again.

You go window shopping and when you see something, you think if it would be nice to your hair (that goes for clothes, furniture, accessories, etc.)
