Some of you may remember that back in May I had a hairstick stolen right out of my bun.  Waaaa!!! thread   I'm here to tell you all that sometimes things work out.  This morning I received a call from the local police department asking me to come down to see if I could identify my stolen stick.  I went down, and SHOCK!!   There was my beautiful, lonely hairstick!  

The police arrested 5 young gals who had been ripping off offices in our area.  Apparently, they were a little too bold on one of their little escapades and the police were able to track them down.  They are being charged with many counts of theft, and believe it or not, the theft of my hairstick is being considered aggravated theft, since it was taken off my person!  It is the most serious crime they committed!  They had me do a picture lineup to try to ID the 2 women that were in the elevator when my stick was taken.  I had no problem picking them out.  

I am just amazed.  I NEVER expected to see my beautiful hair stick again.  I have the stick in my hair now - I don't care if it "doesn't go" with the outfit.  It is a very special stick.

OMG I have not read that thread - it must have happened just before I joined the forums.  I am so appalled they stole it right out of your hair! Grr, that makes me so mad...  

But I'm so glad you got it back!  It almost makes me want to invent something like stick alarms (though that may makeyou deaf) or like stick electrical shocks.  hee.  hehehheheheh  I like that idea.

I'm embarrassed to admit that I don't know the name of the sticks.  Silly me - I would pick out sticks that I liked and never imagine that I would need to remember their names.   :-X

Thank goodness your hair stick is safe! Those aren't cheap! It's not only cheap but something like that becomes a part of you. The audacity of people...
