Title: A Note Of Thanks Post by Angel Spun on Oct 6th, 2005 at 10:18pm
Well...
Reflecting on my first post got me thinking (uh-oh)... ;D When first I inquired about the efficacy of plastic vs. metal in a pterodactyl clip for the shower, some of you asked, "why are you using a clip instead of a shower cap?" *blank stare........blink* So I thought to myself, indeed, why am I? Would a shower cap not make more sense? What could the advantages and disadvantages be? And would it really hurt to give it a try? So I went to the store, bought one, and used it for the first time today. I confess that it was a bit awkward at times, but I suppose I'll manage. So I owe the lot of you a note of thanx in advance. :) If this new method saves my delicate strands even an iota of damage in the long run, I shall be profoundly grateful. Much obliged! :) |

LOL! Sometimes we overlook the obvious and simple answers. ;D
Hope the shower cap works for you. |

Angel spun,
For the first time, yesterday I used a shower cap. I too found it a bit awkward. My hair is definately not long and couldn't figure out how to get my hair in the cap without little strands falling out. Next time, I am going to put it in a pony tail and then use the cap. Hopefully, that will make it easier... Jennifer |

The best thing about a shower cap is that the heat from your head helps with your conditioner. If you have problems keeping all of your hair in, I use a terry lined cap. Just make sure you rinse it out completely and dry it inside out! :)

I usually put my hair in a claw clip and then put the shower cap on -- helps get it all in without too much fuss.
