No good news this month- I couldn't get a consist result, so I took the shorter that I got more than 1 time.
My hair has grown pitiful 0.5 cm this month, taking me to 62.5 cm or 25.6 inches. Hoping for some growth for November- a little trim is coming in the beginning of December. |

I actually measured -- this is the first time for me.
15.0'' Edit: I used the other measurement (from hairline, over the head and to the tip, like on LHL) and I got 20.0" |

Panpeus--Congrats on your first measurement!
28.50" this month. |

From hairline to end of longest top layer:
26" From center part to end of shortest top layer (by sides of my face): 17.75" From hairline to end of longest bottom layer hair, just to see what it'd be if it were one length. 30" Thickness (around a ponytail): 4.46 " These measurements are very odd. Either I've been measuring wrong, or my hair is growing REALLY fast. There's a one inch or more difference in all lengths. To be sure I had my boyfriend measure also. He came up with the same numbers. Cynde |

Khrome--I took a gander at your measurements from last month and *ahem* I WISH I HAD YOUR HAIR GENES! And your hair seems to have gotten thicker! Luckyluckylucky. But I can understand the problems that might come with really thick hair.

Up at least 1/2" since last measure. At 20" now. Yeah! It seems like it takes forever, but it is growing.

a week too late, 94 cm /37" (i expected slighty more grrr).
nov 15th: trimmed for root work (0.5 mm or a bit more ?). tried to remeasure and only came to 93.5 cm so either i trimmed more or my hair isn't growing all that much this month ??? (and because of a lot thicker ends compared to two months ago, i have troubles measuring tout court). |

Getting harder to measure--too long to reach over the top, and not long enough to reach from the bottom ::)
Best guestimate is 21.75" or 55.2cm -- that's after a 1/4" trim last month. |

24" currently.
My last measurement was Nov 2004 and it was 26.5", this is measuring from front of hairline, over head and to ends. I had 4" cut off about 2 months ago, so that means my hair only grew 1.5" in a years time?? Boy, that doesn't seem like much...assuming I did my math correctly... |

With your measurements, your hair grew 6.5" in 12 months. Don't forget to add back the 4 inches you trimmed off 2 months ago! |

Now wait a minute...my hair length before the cut was 28" (or close to it), that was in september, and my measurement in november '04 was 26.5" (of course, there were a few small trims in between, maybe about 2" worth), so wouldn't the difference only be an inch and a half? Add the 2" worth of trims back on and that would be 3.5" in 10 months, which would be about 1/3 of an inch per month, so it would take me 3 months to grow 1 inch. Wouldn't that be right? So it will take me a whole year to grow my 4" back...but, that's not even considering any trims...longer than a year? Oh, now I feel like crying! :'( I'm going to have to keep much better measurements! |

23 7/8 inches! even with a half inch trim before school started that's almost two inches in three months! I'm betting it's the vitamins but right now I'm just excited! right on track with my goals!

My husband and I could not remember where he measured my hair from on top of my head last time. So I measured from the front hairline this time so that I will have a consistent starting point. Right now, it is 37" but I cannot tell if it has grown much in the last month.
Guess I will be able to tell next time. ;) |

I started taking Spring valley Naturally complete multivitamins up until earlier November when I tried out the Aloette Radiance vitamins that are designed for skin and hair. I think the Aloette is the one that made the real difference, it has Green and white tea extract, and horsetail in it, which I've read helps growth a lot.

88cm/34.64 in
There is growth, yes. But I have shed SO much hair in the past two-month that I wish I had no growth and kept my hair! Almost two fingers' width of hair I have lost :'( :'( Will it EVER stop? We had an early and cold and prolonged Fall this year, but hasn't hair realised that all the leaves are already fallen off the trees, huh? :-/ :-/ I'm having my hair cut methinks. |
