Has anyone tried this what is called African GOLD Super Sure Gro
on their hair?   I was just wondering, if you had and if you found it worked well for dry hair..and moisturizing your hair.   does it really make your hair gro as it says?
how do you use it?

I haven't tried it, but most of the ingredients sound okay and would probably be good for one's hair. However, the main ingredient is petrolatum (which is either derived from or is another word for petroleum) and that wouldn't be good for the hair because it would block out moisture. As for making it grow, I kind of doubt it would actually do that, but you never know.

In its jellylike semisolid form (known as petroleum jelly and also by several trade names) it is used in preparing medicinal ointments and for lubrication. As a nearly colorless, highly refined liquid known as liquid petrolatum, liquid paraffin, or mineral oil, it is used as a lubricant, as a laxative, and as a base for nasal sprays.

Other definitions and references all say petrolatum, as juri said, is derived from petroleum. Petrolatum is another name for petroleum jelly!

I don't think this would be good for hair and this would tend to coat the hair.

Oh my!  Petroleum jelly - more commonly known as Vaseline is next to impossible to get out the hair.  However, in mixture with other ingredients, it might not be quite so bad.
