Title: suggestions, please Post by bio_muse on Nov 28th, 2005 at 4:14pm
Hello, ladies & gents,
I'm going to be attending a semi-formal holiday party in a few weeks and am thinking of having my hair put up/styled at the salon (since it will also coincide with my "time to get it trimmed" visit). I am looking for some kind of semi-formal (as opposed to formal/prom) updo (with a picture to show the hairstylist), and quite frankly, this is the best place to look. :) Any suggestions? Thanks! P.S. -- Just a reminder, my hair is down to my waist. :) |

I'm not sure what a semi-formal hairdo would look like, but I'd imagine that braids fall somewhere between casual and formal. How about one of the styles from this site:

The Long Hair Loom's styling station central has a lot of different styles you can look at. They're not all semi-formalish, but I'm sure you'll find some inspiration. :)

You could ask the stylist for a simple French twist when you visit the salon.
This style works great for casual get-togethers, business meetings, all the way up to formal dances. It's classic, so it can be worn for any occasion. :) |
