For those of you who don't know, I work at a university.  The room I'm currently in has a nice large window with a sidewalk running beside it.  So I get to watch a lot of students pass by on their way to classes.  I see a lot of different trends, as you can imagine!, from clothing to hair.  Our spring semester began mid-January and I'm happy to report that I'm seeing a lot of longer hair this season!   ;D  Not a lot of rapunzels, but quite a few gals with shoulder length or longer.  The other day I even spotted a guy with waist length hair pulled back in a ponytail!  --And his hair had a LOT of grey in it, too!  Anyway, that's the report on the (hair) view from my window.  Just wanted to share.   :)

I love people watching - it's one thing that makes my traveling tolerable!

I too am at the university. I have the exact opposite situation: I know quite a few girls here on campus who have long hair. Some are Hawaiian with waist length hair that's straight. There's one in my line of sight now. Some just grow it long. I know two girls who have waist length, thick hair. They give me a visual as to what my goal is, even though their hair is straight. Mine will be different because it's curly.
