Hi - just ordered my first pair of hair stix ever!  I have just started growing my hair out (again) and hope to keep it up out of my way in a "classy" way!  I have layers in it that still have to grow out - but I will probably keep my bangs.  I am 48 and just barely getting some grey.... I have had my hair chin length for years, and shorter than that in the late 80's.  I have had frosted tips for volume because I have baby fine hair and I don't have gobs of it either.  I had mid-back length hair till I was about 25... then I got it permed and cut! BIG mistake.  (oh well).  I can get it into a pony now - and want to start to baby it right away so it gets a chance to get more length that is healthy.  My hair is light brown, with some blond highlights in it to add volume - but not bleached - I don't allow them to bleach my hair, just add tint to it.  I live in North Dakota in a very rural area in the middle of the state.  I've never seen anyone wear hair stix before - and I stumbled on this great web site when I googled "how to grow long hair".  I'm so excited to get my first pair of stix!!!  I ordered the
'Magical Mist - SpiralStix' because they are supposed to work well with thin and fine hair.... I hope they work!  Thanks for the nice welcome.  **** Lenore

Your hair sounds a bit like mine in that it's fine, thin and light brown. I'll look forward to seeing what you do to it - perhaps I may learn a thing or 2 myself.  ;D
