Why hello! After much searching on the internet and asking around, I realise that in Sweden, there are no official sellers of wooden combs (at least not that I have found...  :-/ ).
Therefore, I have to have things shipped over. Since shipping ads about 7-8 dollars, the original price can't be to high- does anyone know of good-quality, hairsafe combs for at a maximum cost 10 dollars? I'd be so grateful for answers!

Well,if you're willing to invest in quality and you if can afford to swing  it....Ric Carpenter the combmaker does quality wooden combs.  Alot of us have them and probably don't know what we did without them for so long!!  You won't be disappointed if you can manage to get one from him. Cheap? I really don't know of any,sorry :(

The Body Shop's Detangling Comb is a nice, cheap wooden comb.  It's sealed, so you can use it on wet hair.  It's also sturdy; my hair is thick and wavy and tangly and it combs right through without a snag.   I use mine for travelling and have always been very happy with it.

I have a couple of "solano" combs, made in Italy.  Dare I say, I like them better than Ric's comb?  ***gasp***
One is "solano 2" that is a palm-sized rake style comb I use for detangling.  The other is "solano 4" that is like a standard wide-tooth/narrow-tooth combo.  The edges aren't so sharp and they are lighter weight so I feel I have better control when detangling.  My hubby found them on the internet, I don't know where :(

He sells reasonably priced bamboo, peach wood, box wood, and ox horn combs.  I bought three combs from him, and the one I liked best was a wide-tooth - number W-3 in this pic

I just bought the body shop's wooden comb. It works great. But I didnt know you could use it on wet hair. I'm going to try it after my next washing.  :)
