Title: Hair accents
Post by Blondestorm on May 30th, 2006 at 12:13pm

I want to pose a question to everyone this morning?

I was watching the X-Men movie over the weekend.  One of the stars, a young woman with dark brown hair,
has her forelocks colored lightest blonde.  I think that is so cool, the bold accents in the very front of her hair.

I have seen brunettes with blonde streaks or blondes with red or brown streaks like that.  I love that look, but am I the only one?  Does anyone else think these bold accents are beautiful?

My favorite bold streaks are white on black.  I seen people with this and thought it was cool.  Mind you this was not a dye job, it was natural. ;)

I agree with you, Blondestorm, the bold contrast looks cool.  For a while I was coloring my naturally dark blond hair red with a bold highlight, and a few smaller highlights.  I really enjoyed it.  I've stopped coloring-and the streaks are gone-it was really harsh on my hair  :(

I think the bold accents can be great.  However, I've seen waaaaay to many of them with the "wrong" color or poorly done.  I have no idea what makes them wrong, they just don't look right sometimes.
