Title: Hi from Montana
Post by Frogi on May 30th, 2006 at 6:11pm
I'm so happy I found this place. I have been growing my hair out for about 2 years and its now past my shoulders but is thin and out of shape. I was searching, frantically today, for a place that could help me get it back into shape and here I am!
My hobbies include working out, reading, making jewelry and computers.
I'm looking forward to making some new friends here. You all seem so great and helpful from your posts. Yeah, I lurked a bit.  ;D

Welcome to longlocks, Frogi.  I hope we'll learn some from you, too.  It takes a lot of patience to transform your hair, I hope your journey to longer, healthier hair is as rewarding as the result.

Welcome Frogi!  Glad you found us.  We're a friendly little group.

I checked out your web page - nice jewelry!

Greetings and welcome aboard, Frogi.  :)

I checked out your site too - and the jewelry you make is lovely. I especially like the necklaces with the sheer ribbons.  :)

Like you, I also have thin hair. It can be such a pain, can't it? All of those lovely styles that you just never have enough hair for? Ugh!  ::)

Hope that you're able to get your hair back in tip top shape soon. You'll likely find all the help you need to do that right here.  ;)

Best of luck and happy growing.

Welcome!

Thin hair has its advatages too. You are less likely to get headaches when your hair is longer, and you will be able to make many styles before people with thick hair. Thin hair has also often great shine potential.  :)

Here's Madeleine's webpage. She has been very creative with her fine, thin hair!

Thanks everyone for the warm welcomes. Wow! You certainly don't find that on every message board.

Aww thanks for the compliments on my jewelry. I'm sorry its a bit out of date. I'm much better at making the jewelry (not to say its all that or anything) than I am a updating my website. Oops!!

I have already learned a ton for you all in just one day! I'm sure you will see a lot of me.  :)

Everyone called me Froggy because of my passion for frogs growing up. I decided to put a funky spin on it when I started my business and go with Frogi.

I wish there was nicer things to say about it but its very fine, about 13" long and has been put through the ringer being on my head. Its been permed (long ago) bleached, dyed, blown dry, curled and recently ironed. *shudders*  I'm amazed that any of those little hairs have stuck with me.  But now I have found this wonderful place and am on the road to recovery for my hair.  ;D

That's a place to start. If you want, think of it this way: your hair has many upward possibilities. :)

Meg,

So very true you are with your statement. :)
Your hair is very beautiful, btw. Are you wearing it down for your wedding or up?

Welcome Frogi!  I'll bet you end up with thicker hair once it has a chance to grow out without all that abuse ;)  In the meantime, enjoy pampering it and learning to like the hair you've been given--makes for a much happier, healthier hair ;)
