HI everybody, just wanted to say a quick hello. I only pop in occasionally to have a peek around. I'm in the process of growing out my hair which is currently at shoulder length. I have dark brown curly/wavy hair and intend to grow to waist length.

I'm really here for the hair sticks. I'm awaiting my first 3 pair and the doorbell just rang a second ago and I ran like a madwoman to answer it but it was only my daughter's boyfriend. Such disappointment. Feel like a kid waiting for Santa Claus.

Anyway this is a lovely site with lots of good information and resources. I'll see you on the boards.

Ooooh you see I didn't even know it comes in a tube. Now I can picture it even better. If I concentrate really really hard, it might expidite my shipment. LOL.

Thanks PreciousLocks, it's getting really bad though, in the meantime, I spend all my time gaping at hairsticks and I ended up ordering another pair. Yikes. I just couldn't resist.

Hi Naturalauburn, I've no idea what they're all called at the moment, I'd have to go into my email and check my order confirmation, but I will post them in the collectors thread after I get them.

All I can remember is one of them has a blue wavy stick pair, one of them is a deco stick pair, one pair is a duet, one is a custom order deco sticks, the other I can't remember. They're all new to me and when I have them in my hot little hands, I'll share photos.

Welcome! It's much more fun to be obsessed in a group. Helps to pass time too. ;D I'm sure you'll love your hairsticks- in reality they are even more beautiful than in photos.

I am from Finland, and arriving of hairsticks takes 1-2 weeks. Plus a little delay if Customs gets them- but that doesn't happen often. I suppose that the delivery to Canada could be a little faster.

Just wanted to say that I received my first three pair a few days ago and they're beautiful. The ones that I wasn't quite sure about, after I ordered, are actually my favorites now.

Two of my daughters covet them and my youngest daughter keeps asking if she can look. I say, look, but don't touch. Well at least don't put them in your hair. I said if she should happen to get an urge to try them out when I'm not home, not to yank on the beads or bend them, if by chance they should prove to be too tempting when I'm out.

They are really beautifully made and I'm enjoying them a lot.

Precious Locks, er should I say Dr. Locks, I might post a pic of them in my hair if I get the nerve, otherwise when I get my next two pair, then I'll put them in the collection thread.

Your stix sound sooo pretty, well they'd have to be if they're LL stix, right?  ;)  Have you posted pix yet?  I'll have to go to the collector's thread to check it out.  Anyways, great to have you here and best wishes with growing your hair to waist length!
