Title: Hey!
Post by Arietti on Jul 18th, 2006 at 11:54pm
Hey, I'm so glad to have found this site, it has been incredibly helpful. My hair is 28 inches long when measured from the side, and it is curly/wavy, and dark blonde/brown.  I had a bad hair experience about a year and a half ago when it was bleached blonde. Bleaching it damaged my hair really bad, as it is already dry. I am now in the process of growing that out, and taking care of it. Thanks for your advice!

Hey Arietti, welcome aboard.  :)

Your natural hair sounds very pretty. 28 inches is pretty long - I'd just about kill for hair like yours.

I also have had to grow out coloured hair and start over, but I had the opposite problem: going from light brown to black!  :o  So I know what it's like to walk around in the awkward stage with two-tone hair.  :P

Sometimes it takes a real hair disaster to wake us up and make us promise to take better care of our hair in the future. Best of luck getting yours more beautiful than ever!  ;D

Thank you everyone! I am glad to be here. You're right, Angel Spun, about the two toned hair. I've sworn never to dye it again, lol. My hair can't handle it. Thanks again.
