Title: need help with baby hairs Post by khrome on Jul 20th, 2006 at 10:24am
For those of you with fine baby hairs around your hairline - help! Since I've been using my microfiber turban (which I'm not giving up, no way!) my baby hairs have been sticking straight up out of my head. I look like I stuck my finger in an electrical socket. I'm wondering what everyone's method of taming these little beasties are? I'm looking for home-made recipes for hair gel (or other sticky substance.) Or would plucking them be too severe? :o

DON'T PLUCK THEM!!!! That will just aggravate the situation.
When my "holo" hairs start to drive me nuts, I use a bit of aloe vera gel to tame them into place. This seems to work well for me. EDIT: "holo" should be "halo" - sheesh! |

BB - Is your gel 100% aloe vera? I had some gel already in the house, but it's not 100%. It doesn't dry sticky. I'm wondering if the pure stuff does.

Yes, it is 100% aloe vera gel. The brand is Fruit of the Earth.
