The first day of school for the teens at the high school across the street from me was not a boring one. It was about 10:30 this morning when a young man put his car through two fences on my neighbors property. I heard the crash and went to see a little black Toyota sticking out of the fence on my side of the property.  No one was hurt thank gods, but in that same yard just yesterday, two small children and there grandmother were played right near that fence.  Why do teens have to speed and drive recklessly?? Some kids standing around thought it was funny??!!  >:(   What is to happen now?  Last year a car went up on the schools lawn and ripped down a fire hydrant. It's only a matter of time till someone gets killed. Gods help us

OH MY!  I'm glad no one was hurt.  

Unfortunately there is not a lot you can do to change the students' driving habits.  Maybe ask the police to patrol the area before and after school?

The police know about these things Robin.  They even have two policemen assigned to the school.  Today was really quite, didn't hear on tie squeal!  Hope it lasts. :)
