::) I am looking for ways to better care for my waist length curly hair. I just had 6 inches cut off so the ends are in good shape. What are some good tips to keep it from drying out and frizzing up?
thanks, love the site. Dram |

Hi, Drammaw, welcome to longlocks!
What color is your hair? Long & curly sounds beautiful. Perhaps you will formally introduce yourself in the new member section. I have wavy hair which also has a dry texture. I really love Ouidad's products. They're specifically designed for curly & wavy hair. You can find them at www.ouidad.com. I found that my hair likes coconut oil, however I oil my scalp and not my ends. With the moisturizing shampoo, conditioner, gel & deep treatment from Ouidad my ends don't need it. I do get regular trims about every 10-12 weeks. So, experiment and let us know what works for you!!! |

Hi and welcome! I have long curly hair like you also and like Sakina I like Ouidad's products for curly hair. The deep treatment is to die for!!! I think your hair will love it! On the site there still may be an offer to get 2 oz of the deep treatment for free (maybe pay for shipping, not sure though.) You'll use the 2 oz. in one shot like I did. My hair sucks up alot of that! lol You could also try JessieCurl.com. Her products are nice,my hair likes her stuff too! Let us know how it works for you and btw do you oil your ends??? Fractionated coconut oil or jojoba oil are wonderful.
