Hello everyone  :D! This seems like a very friendly long hair lovin' community. Here is some of my backstory so you can get to know me!  ;D
My name is Christine, I'm sixteen and trying to grow my hair out (currently I am shoulder length hope to be knee length or longer). I became interested in growing my hair out for about a year (my hair was chin length). I find long hair very romantic, feminine, and beautiful. I am a Highly Sensitive Person. In the past I had my hair quite short, and was dressed "punk goth" then all I wore was padded shoulder business suites to feel tough. In our society sensitivity is looked down on and I wanted to pretend I was something I wasn't. In time have decided to embrace who I am (and who I want to be) and allow myself to feel pretty and feminine.

What color is your hair?

I have blonde hair. It can become a bleach looking blonde if I spend a lot (and I mean A LOT) of time in the sun, and in the winter it can look like a dark reddish blonde almost brunette color. I'm a HSP too! :D  I've found that my sensitivity is actually a great asset (of course, as long as I avoid getting sensory overload). It seems also that our hair color is a close match.
