Here it is, Friday the 13th.  An unlucky day?  Are superstitions "stronger" on this day?  Do you avoid the black cats, ladders and mirrors on this day?  Or are you one the loves the day and watches horror movies?

The most significant thing that ever happened to me on a Friday the 13th (3/13/81), was the birth of my son.  So, I consider Friday the 13th to be a lucky day.  My son considers the number 13 to be his lucky number.

I'm definitely the latter type who loooves a Friday the 13th. Particularly in October. 13 is my lucky number also. Big surprise, right? Cheers!

I'm a black cat lovin', horror movie celebratin' kinda gal.  I avoid ladders 'cause they're dangerous and for the most part I don't avoid mirrors, especially on days I wear mascara and contacts.  Like today  8-)

My lucky number is 7 or 25.

I think its extra cool its a Friday the 13th in October.

I was born on a Friday. Yes, the 13th.

Therefore, I must depend on skill and wit to get by.... ;D  ::)

My Mum was very superstitions and friday the 13th was a no no day.  She was afraid of the usual stuff but also some spokey old wives tales like:  White moths in the window at night ment some one was to die, dogs howling at night was a bad sign and other freaky things I cannot remmeber right now.  She used charms for protection, red ribbon worn in the bra, penny in the shoe...  Me, I payed no mind to firday the 13th being bad, I guess cause Mum fussed so much about it. ::)

For me it is just another day ;)



But, there was a guy I worked with who would take every Friday The 13th. off.
