Thanks Bikerbraid! I just took the tiny turkey breast out of the oven and put in my pumpkin pie. It will just be me and my DH today, since my children live so far away and couldn't get off long enough to visit. They will be here for Christmas though. I have so much to be thankful for. I am thankful for my health, for my husband, my parents, children, and grandchildren, for enough money to meet my needs, for my church family, for friends, for God's beautiful creation, and especially for His greatest gift.

It's been a good Thanksgiving. It's been crowded in front of those looking at the lights. I smoked my bird. Also had a couple of my 'adopted' sons, (my son's friends), too.

Now everyone is gone and the fire dies.

Sir Rat, of course you can have yours with whipped cream. I'll have see if I can find the cherries for you (do you really put cherries on top of pumpkin pie??).

Wish I could check out the lights in person - I bet they are great to look at.
